Another olive Star Legacy model, this is the Montblanc Star Legacy Chronograph Day-Date 43 mm Green. It comes together with a three-hander date version and both models are limited to 800 pieces. And both are an extension of the Star Legacy series that beholds more colors, all with the Montblanc Mountain theme or MB’s star logo. Which is also connected the that famous mountain.
As the logo of the brand is a stylized star representing the snow top of the Montblanc Mountain. The highest mountain in the Alps and the highest mountain in Western Europe. The logo can be found on the onion-shaped crown, a nod to MB’s classic models (and Minerva, the old watch brand they took over years ago). And the logo is also prominent yet subtly applied on the dial.

Just under the central ax starts a sunburst guilloché pattern that forms an exploding star, all the way to the edge of the dial. At the flange is an olive green track with luminous hour dots, and another flange with minute/second track. This one is dark green and has red quarter numerals. The sub dials are solid green and the small seconds counter bears MB’s logo.
The sword-shaped hour and minute hands are rhodium coated with white luminova, just like the Roman numerals. All chronograph hands are also rhodium coated, only the small seconds hand is white. At 3 o’clock is the day and date indication.

The movement of this Montblanc Star Legacy Chronograph Day-Date 43 mm Green is the Montblanc caliber MB 25.07. It’s an automatic based on the Sellita SW500 a which has its origins, like lots of chrono calibers, in the ETA/Valjoux caliber 7750. Although this MB 25.07 has another layout with a 30-minute counter on top, 12-hour counter at 6 and small seconds at 9. The power reserve is 48 hours.
This Star Legacy Chronograph is available with a green calfskin leather strap with steel triple-folding clasp or stainless steel bracelet. The latter adds about 300 to the price.
