The Nivada Grenchen Depthmaster Green Bezel is the latest edition of the Depthmaster collection that was launched in 1965. In that time, it was an impressive dive watch that could go down to 1,000 meters / 3,300 feet. This new version features a green bezel and is a limited edition of 50 pieces.
This new diver has a cushion-shape case just like its predecessor, and has a stainless steel case measuring 39 millimeters. Being a proper diver, it is kind of thick: 13 millimeters. The bezel is unidirectional with 120 clicks and has a 15-minute scale. Perfect for timing your dives. The dial is matt black with luminescent hour markers that go back to the original Depthmaster design-wise. Furthermore, it has a screw-down crown and screw-down case back leading to a significant water resistance. It also has an helium escape valve for getting rid of this gas during decompression.

The heart of the watch is the automatic Soprod caliber P024 without date. This movement also runs the Nivada Grenchen Antarctic Diver for example, although that diver has a date. The Soprod beats at a frequency of 4 Hz with a power reserve of 38 hours.
