The Nomos Tangente Neomatik 41 Update Wempe Signature Collection is a model specially made for a German jeweler. Well, not the whole model, but the model in this ice-blue color. It’s a bright, slim and typical Bauhaus styled watch, just like almost every Nomos model. This model is limited to 200 pieces that are only available at Wempe Jewelers or online at the Nomos website. But online it’s sold-out already.

Wempe is a jeweler with about 35 showrooms worldwide: US, UK, France, but most of them in Germany. They were founded in 1878 as a small watchmaker’s workshop, and today they are selling high-end watches of all the brands you know, and jewelry.

Since 2006, they also have their own watch brand. might be interesting to write a story about that another time. But apart from that, and the standard high-end-brands watch collection, they collaborate with brands like Breitling, Chopard and Hublot to create Wempe Signature Collection models. And they did this with Nomos now for the fourth time.

The Nomos Tangente Neomatik 41 Update Wempe Signature Collection has a perforated dial for the date indication

Inside the Update Wempe Signature Collection is the Nomos caliber DUW 6101 which drives hours, minutes, small seconds and the date. With this model the traditional date window and date disc have been replaced by an almost empty date disc and a perforated date track on the border of the dial. The indicated date is the date between two dark blue lines, the only thing on the internal date disc, showing up through the perforated track.

The case back is transparent and has the limited number engraved on the ring around the sapphire back. The watch comes on a blue-black textile strap.
