Omega releases two new Aqua Terra’s, in green, with the Omega Seamaster Aqua Terra 150M 41 mm Moonshine Gold. Both with a Moonshine gold case – Omega speak for a gold color that looks like “shining moonlight in a dark blue sky”. Not our words. What it actually is, is 18K yellow gold mixed with silver, copper and palladium. This creates even more shine and gives the gold a paler hue.
It looks very good paired with the green PVD dial. It is adorned with horizontal stripes, which Omega calls a “teak” pattern “inspired by the wooden decks of luxury sailboats”. The result is a subtle, classy, 41-millimeter not too shiny water sports watch. When you go for the version with a rubber strap. The one with the gold bracelet will be more prominent on your wrist.

The movement of the Omega Seamaster Aqua Terra 150M 41 mm Moonshine Gold is the Omega caliber 8901. A self-winder with co-axial escapement, METAS certification and resistant to magnetic fields up to 15,000 gauss. Furthermore, a free-sprung balance with silicon balance spring and two barrels mounted in series to provide 60 hours of power reserve.
This movement also has a so called time zone function to operate the hour hand independently from the minutes hand. So, you can quickly adjust the time to a new time zone when travelling. The rotor is executed in 18K Sedna gold, another Omega gold mix, and the balance bridge has Côtes de Genève finish.
