A new turquoise color for two Omega Seamaster Aqua Terra 150M models, in 38 millimeters and 41 millimeters, Omega’s maritime legacy model. It balances elegance with a striking color and offers functionality, making it suitable for both everyday wear and aquatic adventures. Although the color is also quite outspoken, so it won’t be everyone’s cup of thee.
The Seamaster collection debuted in 1948 and quickly became a cornerstone for Omega. It is their diver collection. Known for combining utility with aesthetics, the Aqua Terra subline, introduced in 2002, focuses on versatility. Originally it integrates design cues from maritime instruments, but they are a little harder to find on these new divers.
Turquoise Dial
The watch’s symmetrical case measures either 38 or 41 millimeters in diameter and is crafted from stainless steel. Its thickness of 13.3 millimeters is the same for both models. The turquoise lacquered dial features a black gradient effect, creating a striking visual depth.
Facetted hour markers and hands treated with grey PVD, along with super-luminova inserts, provide excellent readability in low-light conditions. And the integrated date window at 6 o’clock blends seamlessly into the dial. The screw-down crown offers safety for underwater activities.

The Movement: Omega Calibre 8800 and 8900
The 38-millimeter version is powered by the Omega caliber 8800, a self-winding movement equipped with the co-axial escapement. Just like the Omega caliber 8900 that powers the 41-millimeter version. Both are certified by METAS, meeting stringent Master Chronometer standards. Both calibers resist magnetic fields up to 15,000 gauss, ensuring reliability in challenging environments.
Caliber 8800 offers a 55-hour power reserve, caliber 8900 has two barrels in order to deliver 60 hours of power reserve. Both have a rhodium-plated rotor and bridges adorned with Geneva waves in an arabesque pattern, adding a touch of refinement. The 8900 has a time zone function that allows for quick hour adjustments without halting the timekeeping, a useful feature for frequent travelers.
Pricing of the Omega Seamaster Aqua Terra 150M Turquoise
Both Seamasters come on an integrated steel bracelet. The price of the Omega Seamaster Aqua Terra 150M Turquoise is about 6 to 7k for each of them. Competitors in this price range include the Rolex Datejust and the Tudor Black Bay.
While the Rolex offers a similar blend of elegance and durability, it lacks the Aqua Terra’s advanced anti-magnetic properties. The Tudor, while more affordable, does not fully match the Omega’s precision certification or its detailed finishing. But it is coming closer.
