A new Omega Seamaster Aqua Terra Black 38 mm, but now with a lacquered black varnish dial instead of a teak pattern. This new model comes in three sizes: there is also a 41 millimeter (with Omega’s caliber 8900) and a 34 millimeter (with caliber 8800). All in stainless steel.
This 38-millimeter has the perfect dress watch size, although these Seamaster models are pretty capable of handling some water. 150 meters / 500 feet is more than you get from a regular diver. The dial design, with rhodium-plated hands and hour markers and a subtle railway track on the edge of the dial, is classic and classy at the same time.
The Omega Seamaster Aqua Terra Black 38 mm has a power reserve of 55 hours
Where the 41-millimeter is driven by the caliber 8900 with a power reserve of 60 hours, this smaller 38 has the Omega caliber 8800. Also, an automatic, also lots of quality with METAS certification, and a sufficient power reserve of 55 hours.
This Seamaster Aqua Terra Black offers just a little less functionality compared to the 41 millimeter version – it has no time zone function. But the size, also on a stainless steel bracelet with fold-over butterfly clasp, might be just the right one for you. Although, the price is the same…
