Another color variant, this Oris Divers Sixty-Five Date 40 mm Forest Green is the latest addition to the Sixty-Five series. Which now reaches about 90 different models in 38 or 40 millimeters, in all kinds of colors and with all kinds of straps and bracelets. And of course, with different functions: a three-hander, a three-hander with date and a chronograph.
The design of the watch is taken from a 1965 Oris diver, and that still looks great. It’s a good watch for everyday use and as it is a diver (sort of) you will never have to worry about splashes of water. The forest green color, which looks olive green as well, is inspired by the dense forests that surround the historic factory or Oris. Which is situated in the Swiss village of Hölstein, in the Waldenburg Valley.
The Oris Divers Sixty-Five Date 40 mm Forest Green has a power reserve of 41 hours
Inside runs the automatic Oris caliber 733, which is based on the date version of the Sellita caliber SW200-1. Oris uses this movement in lots of other models as well, with a specified power reserve of 38 hours, but here it is 41 hours. This SW200 caliber is one of the most popular three-hand movements with a date (instantaneous), and it has a stop-second device to set the time as sharp as possible.
The Oris Divers Sixty-Five Date 40 mm Forest Green comes on a multi-piece stainless steel metal bracelet with folding clasp.
