This Panerai Luminor 1950 Oracle Team USA 3 Days Chrono Flyback Automatic Ceramica is a 44-millimeter ceramic Luminor 1950 to celebrate the partnership between Panerai and Oracle Team USA. As Officine Panerai is one of the official partners of the 35th America’s Cup (from the 26th of May to the 27th of June 2017).
It features the same movement as this one but without the regatta countdown mechanism. So, this movement is Panerai’s caliber P.9000. With flyback chronograph. The hands of the chronograph are in the Team USA color scheme, just like the strap.
The Panerai Luminor 1950 Oracle Team USA 3 Days Chrono Flyback Automatic Ceramica is limited to 200 pieces
The case is made from a special synthetic ceramic, obtained from zirconium oxide. It offers a uniform matt black appearance and it is light and strong. The bridge lever device which protects the winding crown is also from ceramic. The back is from titanium and carries the Oracle Team USA logo and a drawing of the legendary trimaran of the USA team in relief.
