Panerai has unveiled the Luminor Quaranta Carbotech Matt Green with reference PAM01526 at the 2024 SIAR. Which is the Salón Internacional Alta Relojería México held from October 15 to 17 and brings together 49 leading watch brands at The St. Regis hotel in Mexico City. These brands will showcase exclusive timepieces and limited-edition watches designed specifically for the Mexican market.

This new Luminor Quaranta expands on Panerai’s iconic Luminor collection, with a design in line with this Panerai Luminor Quaranta Steel DLC Luna Rossa. So, a 40-millimeter case, here made from the brand’s carbotech. This material reduces the watch’s weight, which is less than 100 grams, and enhances its resistance to corrosion and external forces.

Matt green dial

The carbotech is executed in matt black with visible structures, also on the lugs and bezel. It is paired with a sandwich-style matte green dial, with white super-luminova numerals and indexes that glow green in low-light conditions. Same for the hands.

Of course it has the renewed crown guards, a small seconds sub dial at the 9 o’clock position and at 3 there is a small date aperture.

The Panerai Luminor Quaranta Carbotech Matt Green has a power reserve of 72 hours

At the core of the PAM01526 is Panerai’s automatic caliber P.900. This movement is compact and offers a 72-hour/3-day power reserve. It features an Incabloc anti-shock device and a see-through titanium DLC (Diamond-Like Carbon) case back. So you can admire the P.900 inside.

The PAM Click Release System makes strap changes easy, offering versatility with a rubber military green strap. Plus a trapezoidal brushed titanium DLC coating buckle. Additionally you will also get a calf leather strap.
