This limited-edition watch, created for adventure, embodies over two decades of shared values between Panerai and Horn. Its design and purpose are rooted in resilience and exploration, with features tailored for demanding environments.

Part of the Submersible collection, the PAM01670 emphasizes technical innovation and durability. With a water resistance of 500 meters or 1,645 feet, it surpasses previous models, catering to professional divers and adventurers. Panerai’s Submersible collection reflects the brand’s historic connection to the sea and dedication to creating reliable instruments. Each watch in this series incorporates advanced materials, precise mechanics, and design elements suited for harsh conditions.

Who is Mike Horn?

Michael Horn was born on the 16th of July 1966, in South Africa. He moved to Switzerland at the age of 24 and became a Swiss citizen. In South Africa, he studied Human Movement Science at the University of Stellenbosch in Western Cape, but after moving to Switzerland he decided to change his career path. He became a professional explorer and adventurer.

He undertook several expeditions all over the world, motorized and on foot, solo and unsupported, some taking years. Apart from that, he also specializes in motivational coaching, writes books, gives masterclasses, and more. And he also has his own foundation that aims to raise awareness of current environmental and social issues. Read more on his Mike Horn website.

47-millimeter titanium case

This Submersible GMT Titanio features a 47-millimeter case made from grade 5 titanium DMLS. This material, crafted using Direct Metal Laser Sintering, offers even more strength and more reduced weight. The diving bezel, constructed from Panerai’s Carbotech, is both lighter and more corrosion-resistant than steel. And each Carbotech bezel has a unique pattern, ensuring no two watches are alike.

The watch includes a patented polarized date display. This innovation allows you to view the date through the skeletonized dial without obscuring the movement. The GMT hand is executed with an orange triangle-shaped tip, just like the AM/PM indicator. Which is integrated in the small seconds sub dial at 9 o’clock. Super-luminova coating on all hands and indices enhances visibility in low-light conditions.

It is skeletonized, with open-worked bridges, revealing the intricate components, and emphasizing the technical mastery behind the design. The caliber is equipped with a micro-rotor made of tungsten and has a power reserve indicator at the back of this diver.
