Another new Toric model is the Parmigiani Fleurier Toric Petite Seconde, a classic design from a series that starts in 1996. Which is the moment the brand starts. We really had to look that up as it “feels” like Parmigiani could have been in the list of oldest watch brands in the world. As their designs, aesthetics, their movements, and the appearance the brand has created, make us think that way. Anyway, back to the watch.

It is available in two versions. A 40.6-millimeter in rose gold and one in platinum. Both with the renewed knurled bezel and both have a hand-grained dial. Which is sand gold or grey celadon colored – a bit of pale blue-green with grey undertones. The clear appliques are hand-applied, and these, the hands, the logo and the small seconds sub dial subtly blend with the case material.

The Parmigiani Fleurier Toric Petite Seconde has a power reserve of 60 hours

Inside the Parmigiani Fleurier Toric Petite Seconde is the Parmigiani Fleurier caliber PF780. It is a hand-wound movement with a power reserve of 60 hours. It can be partly admired though the sapphire case back as only its two barrels and the regulating organ are visible. Three large 18ct rose gold surfaces serve as bridges that are decorated with Côtes de Fleurier.

The watch comes on a green (rose gold) or beige (platinum) hand-stitched nubuck alligator leather strap. Either with a 18ct rose gold pin buckle or a platinum 950 pin buckle.
