The 2021 Aquanaut Luce Travel Time with reference 5269/200R-001 is executed in rose gold with a diamond-set bezel and a white dial and white rubber strap, focusing on “cosmopolitan women”. The size is 38.8 millimeters, the appearance very bright and feminine, mainly due to the white and diamonds.

Less Luce, more for everyone

This new Aquanaut Travel Time replaces the 5269/200R-001 and looks to be focused on everyone who likes a no-nonsense luxurious travel watch. Of course, in the renewed Aquanaut style that was launched in 1997 as a dynamic alternative for the Aquanaut. It’s still 38.8 millimeters, with an embossed opaline blue-grey dial, which can make it attractive for a broader audience.

There are two 12-hour hands: one skeletonized for the home time and a solid baton-type hand for the local time. With the crown you can adjust the local time in one-hour steps. When you don’t want a second time, just “lay” the two hands on top of each other to function as one hand. At the 6 o’clock position is a day/night indication coupled to the home time, highlighted by an applied rose gold “HOME” inscription.

This Aquanaut runs on the Patek Philippe caliber E 23-250 S FUS 24H, a quartz movement the brand only used in its predecessor and this new model. The battery life is approximately three years, and the movement has an end-of-battery-life warning system: the seconds hand will take steps of 4 seconds instead of 1.

The new Patek Philippe Aquanaut Travel Time Ref. 5269R comes on an integrated blue-grey composite strap. It is secured with a rose gold fold-over clasp with Patek Philippe logo, equipped with four independent safety catches.
