Skeleton watches are the main specialty of Roger Dubuis and every single watch produced is stamped by the Poinçon de Genève. So, the same for his Roger Dubuis Excalibur Automatic Skeleton Carbon. But as most Roger Dubuis’ models feature a tourbillon or even a double tourbillon, this one isn’t.

The skeleton calibre with skeleted micro-rotor (self-winding mechanical RD820SQ) is charcoal grey rhodium-plated with a circular-grained plate. It takes 530 hours of manufacturing, including 170 hours devoted to the Poinçon de Genève. One of RD’s unique selling points.

The Roger Dubuis Excalibur Automatic Skeleton Carbon is the entry level of the Excalibur series and made of SMC carbon. This sheet moulding compound makes it twice as hard and twice as light as steel. And it gives the case a rather rugged and sporty and less classic look. To be honest: even thought this is the entry level one, we love it the most.
