Boasting its iconic double flying tourbillon skeleton movement, it was the third year in a row Maison Roger Dubuis was present at the SIAR.

If you got it, flaunt it. The house of Dubuis is known for their state of the art skeleton movements. All the movements are produced in-house. And the brand is the only one with a Hallmark of Geneva for each step of the production process. At the SIAR Roger Dubuis presented the Excalibur Automatic Skeleton Limited Edition for Mexico. A special edition of a model launched earlier. This one is limited to 8 pieces.

The Roger Dubuis Excalibur Automatic Skeleton Limited Edition for Mexico is limited to 8 pieces

The watch features the same in-house developed caliber as the Excalibur Automatic Carbon: the RD820SQ. This 35-jewel self-winding mechanical movement has a 60-hours power-reserve. It beats at 28,800 vph. What’s so innovative about this movement is that it is skeletonized driven by a built-in micro-rotor instead of a tourbillon.

For this special Mexico edition, it is the first time Roger Dubuis uses a new high-tech material for the case: ceramic. The white color of the ceramic creates a powerful contrast with the dark carbon. Red and green accents in the stitching of the black rubber strap, on the hour markers and on the 42-millimeters dial salute the national colors of Mexico.
