The Rolex Yacht-Master 40 Everose Rolesor brings a combination of steel and gold. It is the first time Rolex offers this combination, called Rolesor, on the Yacht-Master.
There is always a risk people might think you’re a salesman in second-hand cars when wearing a Rolex with too much gold on it. But this model has a chocolate colored dial with sunray finish which makes it less shiny.
The Rolex Yacht-Master 40 Everose Rolesor houses the best movement Rolex has ever created
It looks very sporty with its large bezel and the details are great. Look at the raised numerals and graduations on it. Rolex uses its own rose gold alloy (Everose) in combination with 904L stainless steel since 1933. It has become one of Rolex’ signatures. This 40-millimeter Yacht-Master has a case, bezel and bracelet with that combination.
Inside is Rolex in-house caliber 3135 with a power-reserve of 48 hours. It’s a work-horse mechanical movement introduced in 1988 and it is used in many models. It is probably one of the best movements Rolex have ever created. So if you have ever considered buying a goldish, good-looking and sporty Rolex, this might be your choice.
