The Speake Marin Openworked Dual Time Terracotta is a new variant of the Openworked Dual Time. It is already available in the colors Lime, Pink and Mint with a black DLC titanium case. And also with more monochrome dials in a red gold or natural titanium case. And now it is available in an earthy, dark orange color. It’s a limited edition although the brand did not publish the number.
Just like the whole series the case has a Piccadilly style, which is classic, round, and slim, and a nod to the British origins of the brand. It comes in two sizes: 38 and 42 millimeters, here in titanium. The 42 is about 500 more expensive. At 1 o’clock are the small seconds and a retrograde date, the dual time function is viewable at 9 o’clock. This has a 24-hours scale in two colors for the day/night indication.

Inside the Speake Marin Openworked Dual Time Terracotta is the automatic Speake Marin caliber SMA02 with a power reserve of 52 hours. As the dial is open-worked you can admire the movement from both sides. Where you can see the large three-dimensional bridges of the barrel and oscillating weight on which the dial plate if mounted as well.
The bridges are black rhodium-plated with hand-bevelled edges, Côtes de Genève motif and the main plate is micro-beaded and also black rhodium-plated. You can also see terracotta-orange positive PVD coating on the micro-beaded tungsten micro-rotor. The watch comes on a white rubber strap with grade 5 titanium pin buckle.
