The TAG Heuer Carrera Chronograph 7753 SN Heritage is a new panda glassbox model in 39 millimeters. The design is inspired by the Heuer 7753 SN model, an additional Carrera model from the late 1960s that was available as a bi-compax panda or reversed panda model. So, with either a silver dial with black sub dials or the other way around. Which explains ‘SN’: ‘silver’ and ‘noir’, French for ‘black’.
The original Heuer 7753 SN is 35.5-millimeter steel chronograph with plastic glass and a Valjoux 7730 movement. This new Carrera Chronograph comes in a 39-millimeter stainless steel case, holding a TH movement. And it has three sub dials in stead of two. It has a glassbox domed sapphire crystal with double anti-reflective treatment featuring a silver sunray brushed dial. The dial is surrounded with a black flange with 60-second / minute scale and a tachymeter.
The TAG Heuer Carrera Chronograph 7753 SN Heritage has a power reserve of 80 hours
Through its screw-down sapphire case back, the automatic TAG Heuer caliber Heuer 02 (reference TH20-00) can be seen. Compromising 233 components and 33 jewels, this column-wheel chronograph runs at 4 Hz delivering a power reserve of 80 hours.
The TAG Heuer Carrera Chronograph 7753 SN Heritage comes on a stainless steel 3-row bracelet. And it has a polished steel folding clasp with double safety push buttons and a TAG Heuer shield.
