TAG Heuer is quite working on releasing new Monaco’s, like this TAG Heuer Monaco Chronograph Racing Blue Limited Edition. You might know the model was first launched in 1969 and looked just like this one. So, it still has a square-case shape, but you have more color options these days. Like this French Racing Blue. And more options when it comes to the movement. Even more options when it comes to the size of the TAG Heuer Monaco. And sometimes the models are limited, like this one: 1,000 pieces only.

This new Monaco has a 39-millimeter sand-blasted grade 2 titanium case. It features a silver sunray brushed dial, along with eight applied, silvered hour markers and 12 blue dot markers. The hour and minute hands are rhodium plated and filled with blue super-luminova for an easy reading in the dark or even in lighting conditions. You can also see the lacquered central hand in lime yellow for some extra color spice on the dial.

The TAG Heuer Monaco Chronograph Racing Blue Limited Edition has a power reserve of 40 hours

The two sub dials in full blue and square-shaped offer the running small seconds at 3 o’clock and a 30-minute counter at 9 o’clock. Furthermore, there is a small date window at 6 o’clock. Inside is the renewed automatic TAG Heuer caliber 11 with a chronograph and a power reserve of 40 hours. The sapphire case back shows the Calibre 11 as they call it, and limited-edition engravings.

The Racing Blue Limited Edition comes on a racy blue perforated calfskin strap. And it is fastened with a grade 2 titanium folding clasp with double safety push buttons. Like most, maybe all Monaco’s, it has the original Heuer logo on the dial.
