This in-house movement was launched in April 2009. The movement has two patents. First a mechanism for auto-centering of the reset hammers. And second an index regulator system to adjust the watch’s timing yourself.

Variants of the B01 so far are the Breitling caliber B02 with 24-hour function, the Breitling caliber B03 with split-seconds, and the Breitling caliber B04 with GMT. In 2024 the brand launches the Breitling caliber B19 with a perpetual calendar with moon phase.
