collection Patek Philippe Cubitus
The Patek Philippe Cubitus collection, officially unveiled in October 2024, represents the brand’s first new full collection since the release of the Aquanaut in 1997. The Cubitus collection expands Patek Philippe’s sports watch line-up, again aiming to appeal to a broader, younger audience.
.
It has a squared, geometric design, which is a small sidestep from the round square cases of Patek’s past. The initial models feature platinum, stainless steel and two-tone steel/gold variants, with some incorporating complications like moon phases and large date displays.
.
The Cubitus models are equipped with automatic movements and are offered at a lower price point compared to the Nautilus and Aquanaut, making them “more accessible” to new collectors. However prices still start around40 to 50k. The watch also features Patek’s signature embossed dial, a nod to its other sports watches.
.
This collection is seen as a strategic move to offer a more casual yet sophisticated option in the luxury sports watch market. Here you can read more about the history of Patek Philippe.
