Louis Erard’s Le Régulateur x Olivier Mosset TimeForArt Edition, a collaboration with artist Olivier Mosset, is for collectors and art enthusiasts
Regulator
A regulator is a watch with hour, minute and/or second hands that do not share the same axis. So, each hand has its own axis, and is therefor on another position of the dial than the other hands.
.
It’s a rather unique and highly legible way of displaying the time, where the hours, minutes, and seconds are shown on separate dials. This design was originally developed for use in observatories and workshops where precise timekeeping was essential.
