This is Tissot’s version of the ETA caliber C07.811 (base ETA 2824), launched in 2012. It has a silicon balance spring that is a non-metalic, semiconducting material that offers significant advantages in precision, durability, and resistance to magnetism and temperature fluctuations.

The movement can also have a COSC certification and it is the succesor of the Tissot caliber Powermatic 80.111 that has a navichron balance spring. It is also family of Hamilton’s caliber H-10 and of course ETA’s caliber Powermatic series.
