.
High-beating three-hander movement with date that comes in 3 variants (as far as we know). First there is this “standard” 3620. Then the Zenith caliber El Primero 3620 SC (Secondes Centrales) with central seconds. And lastly the Zenith caliber El Primero 3620 SK. Which is the sekelton version of the standard movement.
.
The standard 3620 and the skeletonized 3620 have so called foudroyante seconds, also known as “jumping seconds” or “flying seconds”. This complication shows a sub-second hand that moves in very rapid increments, here every 1/10th of a second. “Foudroyante” is French for “lightning” reflecting the speed of the small seconds hand.
.
The “secondes centrales” version, the 3620 SC, has normal running seconds on a central hand.
