Tissot introduces the Tissot Le Locle 20th Special Edition to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Le Locle collection. The brand originally launched the Le Locle line in 2003, marking Tissot’s 150th year in the watchmaking industry. Now, there is this 39-millimeter version, and a 29 millimeter for women that is adorned with eight diamonds on the dial. We’ll stick to the 39 model.
Le Locle is a municipality in the Canton of Neuchâtel in Switzerland, in the Jura Mountains. It is a few kilometers from the city of La Chaux-de-Fonds and considered as the third smallest city in Switzerland. And also, it is a place where famous watch brands started their business. Like Tissot. The Le Locle line is a series of dress watches with a classic, and minimalistic design. And this special edition just ads some blue to the line-up. Blue roman numerals for the hour markers, and blue hands. The most classic part is the Clous de Paris motif on the dial.
The Tissot Le Locle 20th Special Edition has a power reserve of 80 hours
Inside is an automatic Tissot Powermatic 80 caliber which can be admired through its see-through case back. It is equipped with a Nivachron balance spring protecting the watch from magnetic fields and shocks, and make the watch more durable. The power reserve is 80 hours.
The Tissot Le Locle 20th Special Edition comes on a stainless steel bracelet and an additional blue leather strap. Thanks to the Interchangeable quick release system it is easy to change, and secured with a butterfly clasp with pushbuttons. A pretty good offer given the price tag.
