The Tudor Pelagos FXD Alinghi Red Bull Racing Edition commemorates the collaboration between the Swiss watch brand and the yacht racing team. There are two models: a chronograph in 43 millimeters and this time-only version in 42 millimeters. Both in the colors of the Alinghi Red Bull Racing team’s boat, the AC75. They have a matt blue dial, red accents and a black bezel. Let’s take a look at this time-only version.

The main components of the watch are matt black carbon composite for the case and titanium with carbon composite inlay for the bezel. Also executed in matt black. Then the crown is from titanium and the engraved case back is from stainless steel. Paired with a deep blue strap it is a good looking watersports watch.

The Tudor Pelagos FXD Alinghi Red Bull Racing Edition has a power reserve of 70 hours

The FXD has flat sapphire crystal and the bidirectional bezel has a 60-minute track with super-luminova fill. The scale goes from 60 to 0 so it can be used as a regatta timer – a countdown method for starting a race. The renewed Tudor snowflake hands are executed in white, also with supe-luminova and the seconds hand is red with a white tip. And the dial has luminescent ceramic composite monobloc applied hour markers. With a screw-down crown the water resistance is 200 meters / 660 feet. The Alinghi Red Bull Racing logo is engraved on the case back.

Inside ticks the automatic Tudor calibre MT5602, their reliable work horse with silicon hairspring, which is COSC certified. It delivers a power reserve of 70 hours. The FXD Alinghi Red Bull Racing Edition comes on a single-piece blue fabric strap.
