You may know Red Bull as the sponsor of a Formula One team but they do sponsor lots of other racing teams. One of them is an Australian race competition where they compete with Chevrolet Camaro’s and this TW Steel Red Bull Ampol Racing Chronograph CS120 pays a tribute to that. As TW Steel is also the official timekeeper of the Red Bull Ampol Racing team.

The watch is crafted in a 45-millimeter 316L stainless steel case with blue plated tachymeter bezel. The blue and red dial – the colors of Red Bull – displays counters at 9 o’clock and 3 o’clock with a 60-minute counter on the left and a 24-hour indicator on the right. You can also see a tiny date window located between 4 and 5 o’clock. All covered with coated sapphire crystal glass and a big, screwed crown, helping the watch to withstand at least 10 bar.

The TW Steel Red Bull Ampol Racing Chronograph CS120 has a hybrid quartz movement

Inside this TW Steel is a Seiko caliber VK64, a hybrid movement. The core is a quartz movement, added with a mechanical chronograph. It’s battery lasts approximately three years.
