This Ulysse Nardin Freak X ELA is another unique timepiece that is going to be auctioned by Christie’s on the 11th of November 2024. Ulysse Nardin contributes with the Freak X, specially created for ELA. It is an adjusted X we have seen with this Ulysse Nardin Freak X Gumball 3000 Limited Edition as well. The ELA version is almost all black, with a black DLC titanium case, in 43 millimeters. The special movement has a flying carrousel rotating around its own axis, indicating the time with “bridges”. These bridges have pink tips to show the hours and minutes.

The Ulysse Nardin Freak X ELA runs on the Ulysse Nardin caliber UN-230, an automatic with a power reserve of a sufficient 72 hours. A substantial part of this movement can be seen on the dial side. The case back is sapphire which allows you to admire the back of the caliber as well.
This piece comes on a black leather strap with black DLC titanium double deployment clasp. The estimated auction price is CHF 20,000 – 40,000, which is on the low side. As the aforementioned Gumball edition, limited to 150 pieces, costs around 30 to 50k in dollars.
