The Vulcain SkinDiver Nautique Salmon fulfills a somehow forever lasting trend of salmon dials. It is inspired by a 1960s diver of the revived brand Vulcain (since 1858), according to the press release, but as far as we could find it’s an almost exact copy. The dial of the original is black. And this new one is modernized with a 1-millimeter larger diameter.

This diver is housed in a 38-millineter stainless steel case that keeps the inside dry up to 20 ATM. It has a unidirectional bezel with black ceramic insert, just like 1960 divers and a 60-minute scale for safely monitoring a dive. For sure, the white hands and markers are filled with super-luminova to light up in the dark. This and the black markers for the minute track perfectly tones with the salmon dial.

The Vulcain SkinDiver Nautique Salmon is limited to 50 pieces

The Vulcain SkinDiver Nautique Salmon Dial is powered by an ETA 2824-2, an automatic movement that’s not in production anymore. But it can still be found on the market. The one in the Vulcain is adjusted to a no-date version as the basic ETA 2824-2 has a date. This one only features hours, minutes and seconds and has a power reserve of 38 hours.

The salmon version is limited to 50 pieces only. Should you want another color, it’s also available in blue or black.
