Only Watch 2019 is the 8th edition of the auction that raises funds for research on Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy. Which is a genetic disease that concerns 1 in 3,500 boys, and progressively weakens all the muscles. It is organized by Luc Pettavino, who, together with his wife Monique, has a son with this disease.
So it is a great initiative they create awareness of this disease and raise money for the onlyproject.org that does all the research. Now, in 2017 the auction raised over 10 million Swiss francs, this year the result is a stunning 38’593’000 Swiss francs. A fantastic result, for more than three quarter realized by one watch.
Only Watch 2019 set a record for the most expensive watch in the world

It carries the hand-wound Patek Philip caliber 300 GS AL 36-750 QIS FUS IRM which means it has a lot of complications.
