This is the Zenith Defy Skyline Boutique Edition and there’s actually nothing new on this watch. Apart from a new color scheme on its dial. Take a close look and you will see rose-gold spots on the dial in four-pointed stars, organized in a well-ordered pattern over a slate-grey background.
The watch appears in a stainless steel 41-millimeter case with the renewed octagonal shape and dodecagonal bezel. Recognizable since the first Defy was announced in 1969. The current line-up offers more then 60 (!) models, starting from around 8k to almost 200k for a double tourbillon. This Zenith Defy Skyline Boutique Edition remains under 10k.

Of course, the Defy Skyline Boutique Edition has an El Primero automatic. It’s the high-frequency 3620 that features 1/10th of a second and a date. 60 hours of power reserve is perfect, and the movement can be admired through the transparent case back.
This Boutique Edition comes on a steel bracelet, and you will get a black rubber strap as an extra as it is easily interchangeable. Like the name has already revealed, it’s only available in Zenith boutiques around the world. Or online…
