Whether it is about skipping dealers and their margin or delivering something extra to loyal customers, the Zenith Defy Skyline Skeleton Boutique Edition is another model that has a kind of limited availability. You can only buy it at a Zenith boutique or in Zenith’s online shop, but it is not a limited edition.

The watch is comparable with the recently launched Zenith Defy Skyline Boutique Edition; also boutique/online only, same size, same materials, same movement. However this new one has the caliber El Primero 3620 SK – which means it is skeletonized, and it is finished with a luminous rhodium grey tone. Because it is skeletonized the date has gone, but the 1/10 of a second sub-dial remained, showing a full turn every 10 seconds. It is a new and permanent feature of the El Primero 3620. With this model it only moved from the 9 o’clock position to 6 o’clock.

The Zenith Defy Skyline Skeleton Boutique Edition comes with two straps

The open-worked dial has shades of a silvery-grey color, with a darker chapter ring and gold-plated hands. Of course with super-luminova. It gives the Zenith Defy Skyline Skeleton Boutique Edition a subtle style, which is in contrast with the earlier issued full black Defy Skyline Skeleton that should be available at every Zenith dealer around the world. But somehow we are also curious how it would have looked with blued hands, although the purple gear on the left as well as the red-purple glow of the jewels are cool.

Buying one gives you two straps with an easy interchange system: a stainless steel bracelet and a black rubber strap.
